Starting tomorrow, we have one of the high points of the Hathern year, the Hathern Big Week. There are all sorts of different events going on and we’d love you join us for ‘Church in the Park’ on Sunday 31st May from 10.15am – a relaxed, welcoming community gathering hosted by Hathern Baptist Church with St. Peter and St. Paul’s and Shepshed Baptist.
Whether you’ve never been to church before or you’re simply looking for a great way to spend a morning with friends, neighbours and family, everyone is invited. Enjoy a café-style atmosphere with fresh coffee, pastries, live music, conversation, and activities for all ages, including a fun Lego competition for children. It’s all about bringing our local community together to connect with God and one another.
Don’t forget to join us on Wednesday evening too, for Praise in the Park (7:30pm), led by the group that plays monthly at St. Peter and St. Paul’s, and look for posters round the village to tell you about all the other events.
